Senin pagi (2/3), Presiden Joko Widodo didampingin Menteri Kesehatan Terawan Agus Putranto, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno dan Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung telah mengumumkan adanya 2 warga negara Indonesia yang terkonfirmasi positif covid-19. Keduanya masih satu keluarga yakni ibu (64) dan anak (31).
Dalam konferensi pers di Kementerian Kesehatan, Menteri Kesehatan Terawan Agus Putranto menyampaikan bahwa keduanya terpapar virus tersebut dari kontak erat dengan warga negara Jepang yang berkunjung ke Indonesia.
“Tanggal 14 Februari terjadi kontak antara Warga negara jepang yang tinggal di Malaysia kontak dekat dengan berdansa bersama WNI tersebut,” kata Menkes.
Pada 16 Februari warga negara Jepang tersebut kembali ke Malaysia. Sang anak merasa tidak nyaman seperti batuk-batuk dan menjalani rawat jalan. Setelah 10 hari berselang yakni pada tanggal 26 Februari batuknya tidak kunjung hilang. Akhirnya sang anak minta untuk dievaluasi lebih ketat.
“ Dalam keterangannya, yang bersangkutan mengatakan melakukan kontak dengan orang jepang maka dia ditetapkan sebagai pasien dalam pengamatan, perlakuannya pun sama dengan dugaan infeksi,” imbuh Menkes.
Menkes menambahkan pada tanggal 28 Februari mendekati 29 Februari, yang bersangkutan di telepon oleh temannya yang warga negara Jepang bahwa dia dinyatakanya positif covid-19 dan dirawat di Malaysia.
Karena cerita tersebut, yang bersangkutan kemudian dipindahkan dari RS Mitra Keluarga ke RSPI Sulianti Saroso. Di sana dilakukan pemeriksaan swap dll, dan telah diketahui hasilnya pada Senin pagi (2/3).
“Hasilnya pagi tadi dinyatakan positif dan diumumkan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo,” jelas Menkes.
Ia menambahkan bahwa saat ini kondisi keduanya sehat dan perkembangannya pun akan terus dipantau oleh tim kesehatan terkait.
“Saat ini keduanya dirawat di RSPI Sulianti Saroso, nantinya perkembangan kesehatan mereka akan terus dipantau. Kondisinya baik, artinya tidak ada demam, tidak ada sesak nafas,” tuturnya

Two Patients Positively-Diagnosed with Covid-19 are Hospitalized in Sulianti Saroso Hospital

On Monday morning (2/3), President Joko Widodo accompanied by Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung announced that there were 2 Indonesian citizens who were positively-confirmed for Covid-19. The patients are mother (64) and child (31).
In a press conference at the Ministry of Health, Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto said that both were exposed to the virus after a close contact with a Japanese citizen visiting Indonesia.
“On 14 February the Japanese citizen, who lives in Malaysia, made a close contact with one of the patients during dancing” said the Minister of Health.
On February 16 the Japanese citizen returned to Malaysia. The patient experienced coughing and underwent outpatient care. After 10 days, on 26 February the condition was not improving. The patient then was asked to be evaluated more strictly.
“In the statement, the patient informed of having a close contact with the Japanese citizen, therefore the patient was determined as patient under observation, in which was treated similar to patients who are suspected to have the infection,” added the Minister of Health.
Furthermore, the Minister of Health added that on 28 February, close to 29 February, the patient was contacted by the Japanese citizen, and informed the patient that he was tested positive for Covid-19 and was treated in Malaysia.
Due to this information, the patients then were transferred from Mitra Keluarga Hospital to Sulianti Saroso Hospital. The hospital conducted swab test as well as other examination in which the result became available on Monday morning (2/3).
“The results that was available this morning are positives and have been announced by President Joko Widodo,” explained the Minister of Health.
The Minister of Health added that both mother and child are healthy and their progress will continue to be monitored by the relevant health team.
“Currently both of them are being treated at RSPI Sulianti Saroso, where their health condition will be monitored continuously. Their conditions are good, meaning that there are no fever and no shortness of breath” he said.
